Graham Drew
Lead Guitar & Vocals
Deeply influenced by David Gilmour, British guitarist Graham Drew started playing guitar at the age of thirteen. In high school, he branched out to play bass as well, performing with various groups in and around London for several years. In 1994, he returned to guitar and eventually relocated to Florida to join the female-fronted rock band, Jade Fox. After a few years, Graham moved to Washington D.C., where his passion for Pink Floyd led him to front the Pink Floyd tribute band, Echoes. With Graham on lead guitar and vocals, Echoes performed all around the Washington D.C. area for about two years, receiving considerable praise and building a following. In 2010, Graham returned to bass with alternative rock band, Drumfish. Now, he’s back on lead guitar doing what he loves most: faithfully reproducing the music of Pink Floyd.
James Madar
Guitar & Vocals
Inspired by the music of Pink Floyd, guitarist James Madar spent years playing the D.C. cover band scene before joining Echoes as an original member. He’s quite adept at covering the rhythm guitar parts of both Gilmour and session guitarist Snowy White--along with the characterful lead vocals and harmonies of Roger Waters and Richard Wright--helping build the powerful wall of sound Pink Floyd is known for. James is currently a member of the all-original progressive band, The Apple Zed, where he uses layered effects to create ambient tones and dreamy soundscapes on the band's forthcoming second EP. He is also a regular pit orchestra musician playing guitar and banjo in various D.C. area community theater musicals with Prince William Little Theater, the Arlington Players, and others. James is excited to reprise his role in Echoes for the 50th anniversary of Dark Side of the Moon.
Zach Furness
Keyboards
Zach Furness began studying music early in life, playing in orchestras throughout his school years. Influenced by Pink Floyd keyboardist, Richard Wright, Zach’s focus shifted to classic rock. He played in numerous Northern Virginia bands including Zipper, Swiftkick, and CoverUp. In the mid-2000s, Zach joined Bluestone, a blues band featuring songs from artists such as Robben Ford, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and Robert Cray. In 2010, Zach joined Echoes, where he excelled at recreating the classic analog keyboard and synthesizer sounds of Richard Wright. Since then, Zach has branched out into jazz, becoming an active member of the Jazz Workshop while continuing to play classic rock across many clubs, wineries, and breweries in and around the D.C. area.
